Turkey & Apricot Sliders Proceed Enjoying That Thanksgiving Turkey!

Chock total of chopped turkey, apricot preserves, Dijon mustard, in addition to pecans, these baked Turkey in addition to Apricot Sliders aren't your average turkey sandwiches!  


Well, it's almost Thanksgiving!  That's right, Thanksgiving is next week.  Are you lot laid to gobble 'til you lot wobble?  I know I certain am.

Modeled later the ever-popular baked ham-&-cheese political party sandwiches, this turkey version is built on fiddling King's Hawaiian dinner rolls, wrapped inward foil, in addition to baked until they're hot in addition to bubbling alongside melted provolone cheese.

The apricot provides a hint of sweetness.  The Dijon provides a fiddling zip.  And the chopped pecans orbit a flavorful fight of crunch.

Together, it's a fabulous combination.

Turkey & Apricot Sliders

Ingredients
  • 2 T. apricot preserves
  • 2 T. mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp. Dijon mustard
  • 2 c. chopped cooked turkey
  • 1 T. chopped greenish onion (or finely chopped yellowish onion)
  • 1/4 c. chopped pecans
  • 4 or 5 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 (12 oz.) package pocket-size dinner rolls (I role King's Hawaiian dinner rolls)
Directions
  1. In a pocket-size bowl, combine apricot preserves, mayonnaise, in addition to Dijon mustard.
  2. Without separating the dinner rolls, role a serrated knife to cutting the rolls inward one-half lengthwise. Spread apricot mixture evenly on the cutting sides of the rolls. Place chopped turkey evenly across the bottom one-half of the rolls; sprinkle alongside greenish onion in addition to pecans, in addition to function yesteryear alongside cheese slices. Cover alongside the tops of the rolls.
  3. Wrap the sandwiches inward aluminum foil. Bake at 350 degrees for twenty - 25 minutes, until heated through in addition to cheese is melted. After removing from the foil, role a serrated knife to cutting into private sandwiches.
