I mean value pizza may simply last my favorite food. And I similar pretty much whatever kind. Plain cheese ... sure. Pepperoni & mushroom ... love. Wacked out crazy season combinations ... absolutely. 'The Works' ... convey it on!
As I kid, I loved it when my parents decided it was 'pizza night.' And I peculiarly loved it when nosotros got pizza 'with the works' ... yous know, with everything on it. Yes, fifty-fifty equally a kid I loved crazy flavors.
Well, the other night, I decided to bask my pizza amongst the plant inwards dip form.
Now, I'm going to brand a confession hither ... I accept a actually bad habit of getting pizza for dinner when my hubby goes out of town. Now, that in-and-of-itself is non hence bad. The bad business office is that I tend to over indulge inwards said pizza. It simply kinda keeps calling my advert from the refrigerator. {You know how it is, right? That niggling pizza vocalization calling out, "Eat me! Eat me!"} And earlier I know it, I've eaten agency to a greater extent than than I should.
So when my hubby went out of town this weekend, I changed upwards my pizza habit simply a tad. I decided I mightiness last able to demonstrate a teeny flake to a greater extent than restraint amongst pizza dip than amongst the large ol' pizza pie itself.
I whipped upwards a batch of 'The Works' Pizza Dip ... consummate amongst all the flavors of delicious loaded-with-everything pizza ...
... but if yous don't' like all the flavors of 'the works,' yous tin whip upwards a simpler version, similar this i ...
... together with hence ... chips inwards manus ... I pigeon in.
Ahhhhhhh, pizza craving satisfied. And amongst maybe simply a teeny tiny flake to a greater extent than restraint than amongst actual pizza.
'The Works' Pizza Dip

Ingredients- 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 c. jarred spaghetti sauce
- 3 oz. turkey pepperoni slices
- 1/2 c. pre-cooked turkey sausage crumbles (about 1/4 lb. sausage)
- 1/4 c. finely chopped dark-green pepper
- 1/4 c. sliced dark-green onions
- 1/4 c. finely chopped mushrooms
- In a modest mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, together with 1/2 loving cup of the shredded mozzarella cheese. Spread inwards the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate lightly coated amongst non-stick cooking spray. Spread the spaghetti sauce evenly over the cheese layer.
- Set aside nine slices of pepperoni for the transcend of the dip. Coarsely chop the remaining pepperoni. Sprinkle the chopped pepperoni, sausage crumbles, dark-green pepper, dark-green onion, together with mushrooms evenly over the sauce layer.
