Banana Spice Dump Cake

What a beautiful Fall twenty-four hr menstruum it is hither inwards North Carolina!  The Sun is shining ... a gentle breeze is blowing ... the temperature is phenomenal ... together with it's simply perfect for sitting out on the deck alongside your feet upward spell enjoying your lunch.  Which is simply just what I did.

See?  Here's my lovely-Fall-day-with-my-feet-up backyard sentiment ...

And simply expect at that Carolina Blue sky.  Gorgeous.


And non alone was it a perfect twenty-four hr menstruum to bask my luncheon outside, gazing at the perfect Carolina heaven together with listening to the birds chirp away ... it was a perfect twenty-four hr menstruum to bask a deliciously perfect Fall dessert.

But I didn't opt for the 'usual' Fall flavors today ... yous know, apple tree together with pumpkin.  That's what nosotros typically intend of when nosotros intend autumn desserts, right?  Apple spice everything {like Slow Cooker Apple Pudding Cake} together with pumpkin spice everything {like Caramel Pumpkin Snack Cake or Creamy Pumpkin Cheesecake}.

Nope.  I didn't become for apple tree or pumpkin spice.

Today I opted for banana  spice.

What fun!

I honey it when brands accomplish out to me to practise recipes alongside their products.  It's kinda similar my rattling ain personal 'Chopped' challenge ... alone alongside much to a greater extent than friendly together with fun gene baskets.  And no timer clock tick-tocking away over my shoulder.  {I couldn't get got that sort of pressure!}

Oh, I had so many ideas come upward to heed for combining these 2 products, it was difficult to know where to start.

Umm hmmm ... I created this absolutely delicious, Fall-inspired Banana Spice Dump Cake.



Dump cakes amaze me.

I hateful seriously, all yous practise is dump {hence the name} a bunch of wonderful ingredients into a baking pan ... don't stir them at all ... popular the pan inwards the oven ... together with out comes a fabulous cake.  How does that happen?  Are at that spot piffling elves inwards the oven magically making the ingredients blend together into a beautiful baked creation??

I accept no idea.

But no thing how the amazing dump cake magic happens, i thing's for sure ...

This recipe sure as shooting proves that Concord Foods' Chiquita Banana Bread Mix and Sun-Maid Raisins certainly are  'Sweeter Together'.

Especially when enjoyed alongside your feet upward on a gorgeous Fall day.




Banana Spice Dump Cake

Ingredients
  • 5 or 6 medium-sized bananas, sliced
  • 2 T. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 1/2 c. Sun-Maid Raisins
  • 1 (13.7 oz.) package Chiquita Banana Bread Mix
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 /2 c. butter, melted {1 stick)
Directions
  1. Lightly spray a 9x13" baking pan alongside non-stick cooking spray. Spread banana slices evenly inwards bottom of pan.
  2. In a small-scale bowl, combine brownish sugar, cinnamon, together with cloves. Sprinkle evenly over bananas together with and so pour inwards evaporated milk; practise non stir. Evenly sprinkle raisins, dry out Chiquita Banana Bread Mix, together with and so pecans over banana mixture; practise non stir. Pour melted butter on top; practise non stir.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 - l minutes.
  4. Serve warm or at room temperature. Scoop onto private serving plates together with plow over alongside a dollop of whipped cream.
