Traditional Granola

Ingredients
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. honey
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. old-fashioned oats
1/4 c. wheat germ (optional)
1 tsp. pose down cinnamon
1/2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts (or other nut of choice)
1/2 c. raisins or currants (I purpose currants)


Directions
Microwave Method:
Cut butter into small-scale pieces.  Combine all ingredients EXCEPT raisins/currants inward a large microwave-safe bowl.  Microwave on high for half dozen to vii minutes, stirring every 2 minutes.  Stir inward raisins/currants.  Spread onto a baking canvas to cool.  Let cool completely.  Store tightly covered.

Oven Method:
Melt butter inward a large bowl.  Add honey, vanilla, too cinnamon; stir to combine.  Add oats; stir until oats are good coated amongst butter mixture.  Add chopped nuts too stir to combine.  Spread mixture onto a baking pan.  Bake at 325 degrees for xx to 25 minutes, stirring nigh every five minutes.  Remove from oven too stir inward raisins/currants.  Let cool completely.  Store tightly covered.
